| Our
House... in the middle of the Jungle
The original 'pole-house' design: lofted ceilings, telephone
poles in the middle of the living room...
The side yard, with fine views of more trees. The ditch in the
foreground is an on-again -- off-again stream. On when it is
raining (a fairly common event...) off when it is not.
The driveway. Kind of like mountain climbing.
The back yard: a view from the deck. Stream at center bottom is
dry. Lump enjoys sniffin' out the ball in the tall weeds. Three
huge fruit trees are popular with the birds.
Same view as above after a bit of rain.
The side yard. The tall jungle foliage keeps this area rather moist,
hence the heavy plant growth. This territory is mainly used for ball
hunting drills (and ohh what a dirty dog comes back from in there).
Just below our side deck, the stream has a nice waterfall. You
will never guess who likes to snorkel around in that muddy
water...
The side deck wraps all the way around the back of the house.
The jungle just outside of the carport.
Ok, so you got the side yard, and the back yard, and the front yard...
'where are the pictures of the inside all ready' (you are asking)?
...Could we get the place cleaned up enough for pictures? Well, you will
just have to click here to find out.
